AppDat Customer User Roles #

The following are the AppDat Platform customer roles which map to specific responsibilities.

Owners #

Owners are the civil servants, or “Registered NASA Officials”, who are the core owners of a specific project or group of projects.

Maintainers #

Maintainers are the technical implementation leads for a specific project or group of projects. Maintainers can be either civil servants or supporting NASA contractors or partners, who are responsible for core management of their respective projects and groups.

Developers #

Developers are the software engineers who are responsible for making software source code, configuration, or documentation updates for a specific project or group of projects.

Reporters #

Reporters are the project management, technical writers, and project stakeholders who are responsible for helping contribute project documentation and support agile project planning and management launch within Gitlab.

Guests (Free) #

Guests privileges are primarily “read only” to the projects or group of projects they are either explicitly associated with. The exception is that “guest” users may open or contribute to Gitlab “Issues” launch within the projects they are explicitly associated with or with the projects with an “Internal” visibility. Other restrictions due apply with Issues marked “confidential” launch .
